I began with one mission: to create.
I did not know what I was going to create or how I would begin, but I wanted to share my vision with the world. Mental health advocacy is my passion. It continued to be at the forefront until I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2017. Today, I endeavor to convey each point through relapses, remissions, and recovery. I offer a myriad of media so that it may resonate with at least one person.
Though it was my own father’s life was cut tragically short due to mental illness, I want to be a beacon for women. Life can take so much; it can be so much. Yet, in it’s chaos, we can find hope, healing, and fellowship. Mental health and wellness can encompass an array of subject. Battling chronic illness in conjunction with mental illness takes it’s toll. In it’a rawness, here, you’ll see vast themes from body image, my experience as a gay woman, sexual assualts, to suicide and the topics in between. Formats are eclectic, a reflection of my own messy mind.
My words are strong because your feelings are strong. I let them brew in time and meaning.
From my heart to yours, I hope my words resonate within you and I succeed in inspiring you and helping at least one individual feel less alone.
